Polish Grzegorz Nowak Glorious in Friday’s Two Top-level Contests
The Medium Tour, a 1.35 m, two-phase competition with interruption attracted 43 riders, 28 of whom completed both phases, and 20 of those remained clear throughout. The victory went to Grzegorz Nowak from Poland in the saddle of his stallion Let’s GO.

This time, the previous day’s winning pair, Barna Burucs and Chasa Lady SZ, took second place.

Austrian Benjamin Saurugg on Cala Llamp finished third.

The riders were congratulated by Péter Szladek, one of the competition’s announcers.
The horses of the podium finishers will each receive a magnetic therapy treatment, provided by Hoofmag.
One of the weekend’s most prestigious events was the 1.45 m Big Tour with a total prize money of € 28,200. The field of sixty riders naturally included the cream of the crop of Hungarian riders, who faced 13 obstacles with 16 efforts and a short time limit. The audience witnessed 16 clear rounds. Gábor Szabó Jnr. was in the lead for a long time; he was listed third on the start list with László Gáncsos’s stallion, Bizar VDL, but Grzegorz Nowak on Kaskada, the 56th starter, took the lead after a speedy clear round. The four riders following behind were unable to change the order, so the Polish rider secured another valuable victory.

Third place went to Austrian Sally Carina Zwiener on Vagabund 136.

The remaining rankings: Vince Jármy – Jb Koronaőr, Lena Binder – Celina 211, Éva Debreczeni – Cortez
Melinda Schlezák, president of the jury, and Dorottya Stróbl, competition director, congratulated the riders.
The competition continues Saturday morning at 9:30 AM with the young horses’ competition.
Admission is free all weekend.
