The Longines EEF Nations Cup is coming soon: the region’s best show jumpers will compete in Budapest over four days
Four days, 17 events, €186,500 in total prize money: the wait is almost over, and the National Riding Hall will once again host the year’s most prestigious show jumping competition.
This year marks the sixth running of the Series which was created by the European Equestrian Federation (EEF) with the aim of helping to bridge the gap between national shows and international events and developing young riders and horses. What makes the Longines EEF Nations Cup series truly special is that talented young riders deliver sensational performances and embark on an exciting journey while representing their home countries.
Budapest will host one of the regional qualifying competitions of the Longines EEF Nations Cup series from June 25–28 this year. Over the course of four days, the region’s best riders will compete in 17 events for a very impressive total prize money of 186,500 euros. The event’s highlights, which are sure to draw the most attention:
- Friday, June 26, 2026, 15:00 CSIO*** Big Tour – EEF Longines Series Regional Qualifier Central Region 150 cm 65,000.00 EUR
- Sunday, June 28, 2026, 15:30 World Cup Grand Prix 155 cm 60,000.00 EUR
So, on the last weekend of June, everyone is invited to the National Riding Hall, where spectators can cheer on their favorites from the sidelines and admire the horse-rider pairs galloping just a few meters away.
