Greetings from EEF President, Quentin Simonet
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Budapest for the second and final Regional Qualifier of Region Central in the 2026 Longines EEF Series.
This event represents an important milestone in the season. Not only will it determine the five teams that qualify for the South-Central Semi-Final in Šamorín (SVK) this July, it also brings the regional qualification stage of the 2026 Series to a close before attention turns to the semi-finals and ultimately the Final.
We are especially pleased to bring this level of international sport once again to Hungary, a country with a passionate equestrian community and a truly world-class sporting venue. Budapest provides an excellent setting for what promises to be a competitive and closely contested qualifier.
The Longines EEF Series continues to offer nations across Europe a valuable pathway for team competition, creating opportunities for athletes to gain experience and progress at the international level. The strength of participation throughout the qualification phase once again highlights the importance of this unique format.
Our sincere thanks go to the Hungarian National Federation and Organising Committee for their commitment to delivering this event, and all those whose dedication and professionalism have helped make this qualifier possible.
The European Equestrian Federation is proud to continue this journey alongside Longines, our Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, whose support remains fundamental to the success of the Series. We are also pleased to work with Harcour, Official Supplier, whose contribution brings elegance and distinction to each prize-giving ceremony throughout the season.
To all athletes and teams competing in Budapest, we wish you every success in the days ahead, as we look forward to an exciting conclusion to the regional qualification stage of the 2026 Longines EEF Series.
