Hungarian Victory in Opening Event of the 2026 CSIO
Six- and seven-years-old young horses entered the track in the opening competition of the CSIO3*-W Longines EEF Series International Jumping Competition. Italian course designer Elio Travagliati set up a 1.25m or 1.30m parkour, depending on the age group of the horses, featuring 11 obstacles and 13 efforts.
Twenty-five out of 36 pairs completed the course with a clear round. However, Rodrigo Szuhai took the lead with a speedy round and secured the victory on Ugano-K van Kattenheye, a son of Mugano van Klapscheut × Elvis Ter Putte.

László Tóth, another fast rider finished second on Pearl Jam G., a gelding by I’m Special de Muze out of Voltaire.

Third place went to Czech Tereza Vesela on Oklahona HDH.
