Gábor Szabó, Jnr. Glorious on Carabella Z in Lipóti Bakery Prize

Following yesterday’s first round, the young horses’ competition continued on Friday with the second leg in two-phases. Of the 31 starters, the six-year-olds were the first to jump the 1.25 m obstacles, after which the height of the fences was raised to 1.30 m for the seven-year-olds.

The victory went to Gábor Szabó, Jnr. on his mare Carabella Z, by Comme Il Faut out of Andiamo Z, owned by Dr. Zsuzsanna Pusztai.

The winning pair from the first day, Rodrigó Szuhai and Ugano-K van Kattenheye, finished second this time, just a few tenths of a second behind.

Third place was taken by German Tobias Meyer in the saddle of his mare Ofina 3, by Ogano Sitte × Con Capitol.

The most successful Hungarian-bred horse was Borbála Burucs’s Hungarian sport mare Mia Bora-Bora (Kansas VL × Lasino).

The riders were congratulated by Robert Fekar, a member of the jury, and Péter Tóth, a representative of Lipóti Bakery. The total prize money for the event was €2,000.
