Mares Dominate Young Horses’ Final

In the competition sponsored by Inter Horse Truck, riders competed for €3,000.

Half of the field, a total of 17 pairs completed the course designed by Elio Travagliati with a clear round and qualified for the jump-off. After one withdrawal, eight six-year-olds and eight seven-year-olds finished the shortened course made up of six jumps. Most riders tried to keep up a fast pace, which generally led to faults. However, nine riders managed to navigate the jump-off clear.

Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli scored the fastest time on the seven-year-old KWPN mare, Odinent (Cantona TN × Royal Feu S.F.). The rider, ranked 68th in the Longines World Rankings, entered the arena second-to-last and confidently took the lead.
