The most prestigious Hungarian show jumping event kicks off on Thursday

The CSIO 3* W International Show Jumping World Cup and Nations Cup Team Championships in Budapest will allow riders and horses to test their skills in thirteen events. 115 riders from 18 nations entered 208 horses for the prestigious tournament. The competitions will take place from Thursday to Sunday at the National Riding Hall.

  • 9:00 140 cm Alpenspan Prize
  • 11:30 Young horses final for the prize of the SAUSKA Wineries

  • 10:00 135 cm M4 Sport Prize
  • 12:00 140 cm Concorde Prize
  • 15.00 150 cm WC Grand Prix for the prize of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation

Additional programmes

A bronze statue of the late Hungarian show jumping legend, József (Joe) Turi, will be unveiled on Friday 9 July, after the 145cm Longines EEF Series Semi Final NC in the National Riding Hall. The commentator of the event will be Dániel Szebényi, and speeches will be held by Vilmos Lázár, President of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation, and former chef d’équipe, Balázs Burucs.

Also on Friday, from 9 pm, the National Riding Hall will once again host a party for the riders. The music and dance party will take place in the buffet tent. Jump to the Tatter Party Facebook event »
