Bence Dömse Glorious in the U25 Competition

Friday’s events took place in drizzling rain. Croatian international course designer Eduard Petrovic once again created spacious courses.
Fifty-three horse and rider pairs lined up for the morning’s 1.10m VIP Tour, a competition in two phases without interruption. From the 24 clear rounds Amelia Jez from Poland proved to be the fastest in the saddle of Con Cordia, repeating their win yesterday. She took third place on her mare Miracle, as well.

Alma Arató on Timpex Gála finished second.

A similarly large field of 52 competitors started in the 1.20m Small Tour against the clock. The 460-metre-long course featured eleven obstacles with two doubles. Most of the field, 30 riders completed the track with zero penalty points. The fastest clear round was delivered by Austrian Daniel Gnaser on his mare Jardy.

They were closely followed by Gábor Szabó, Jnr. on Manitu 88, and Balázs Varga on Mylo Captain. Both horses were sired by Mylord Carthago.

The prizes of the first two competitions were presented by Robert Fekar, the Slovak member of the jury.
In the third 1.30m U25 competition the 36 riders experienced an almost familial atmosphere after the packed fields in the morning.
The ranking changed constantly thanks to a series of fast rides. The podium places were taken by three Hungarian riders. Thursday’s third placed pair, Bence Dömse and Trixi, bred by Péter Takács, finished this time on the top.

Boglárka Bosits, a future young veterinarian, and Caremos had to settle for second place once again.

Third place went to the youngest rider of the field, Csenge Csizmadia on Chavoltus.

Alexandra Kunné Fekete congratulated the riders on behalf of the jury.
