Polish Victory in VIP Tour Final

On Saturday riders of the VIP Tour lined up for the third and last time for the final. Almost half of the field of 50 rider and horse pairs completed the 1.15m course clear. The final starter, Amelia Jez, from Poland on her mare Con Cordia performing a brilliantly fast ride again, continued her winning streak of Thursday and Friday.

An interesting feature of the competition was that two pairs finished in a dead heat in second place with identical times: Balázs Jandó on Zunday Z and Alma Arató on Timpex Gala who were already placed in the previous rounds.

The podium winners were followed by Lili Dominika Sallai on Irisz, Hanna Iringó Pál on El Clasico and Zsanett Dobozi on Jacline.

Thanks to sponsor Premium Horse Feeds the top six finishers received special prizes as well. Eszter Bardóczky, representing Premium Horse Feeds, and Alexandra Kunné Fekete, on behalf of the judges, congratulated the riders.

Before the Medium Tour, Saturday kicked off with the 1.25m Small Tour. A field of 54 competitors faced eight obstacles with two doubles on a course designed by Eduard Petrovic from Croatia. Only ten riders managed to complete both phases without penalties. The victory went to Gábor Szabó, Jnr. on Manitu 88, ahead of Austrian Daniel Gnaser on Jardy and Sabine Bachmeier from Germany on her gelding Clinton’s Position.
