Greetings from Vilmos Lázár, President of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation

Dear Guests, dear Equestrian Friends,
We have invited you for a double celebration. It is great pleasure for us that the best equestrian athletes of the region participate in the Longines Semi Final Budapest CSIO-W.
The other occasion is to celebrate the 101 year anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation.
Holidays are not made only by special indications in our calendar. These and similar events joyful encounters of friends make them unique and memorable.
CSIO competitions in Hungary become already a tradition – attracting the attention of the equestrian professionals and wider public alike. The outstanding number of competitors and the huge interest generated by the event suggests the riding at CSIO Budapest is a prestige. The prestigious event strengthens the social recognition of equestrian sports.
I would like to hope that this prominent competition of our geographic region and the hard challenge brings the Hungarian show jumping closer to the European lead.
This year we can support the Hungarian show jumping team riders with renewed enthusiasm and desire for success in the Nations Cup and Sunday’s Grand Prix.
However, the athletes attending the CSIO Budapest are all aiming to qualify for the Longines EEF Series Final on the coming weekend.
Dear Guests,
Thank you for accepting our invitation. Have a great time. I wish good luck to the competitors and national teams, good work to the judges and an enjoyable time to the spectators.
Vilmos Lázár
President of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation
