Long-awaited rain arrived during the night, bringing cooler temperatures, so riders enjoyed pleasant conditions in Friday’s opening event, the 1.25m Bronze Tour presented by Sauska Wineries.
Thirty-eight riders lined up for the €1,000 competition, and more than half of the field scored a clear round.
The victory went to Markus Saurugg on Linet Z from Austria.

Hungarian Boglárka Tóth on Diarito PS finished second, her younger brother, Sebestyén Tóth in the saddle of Claudius third. Both riders are coached by Gyula Zárug and both horses are bred in Lewitz.
