Aliz Alasztics Wins 1.40 m Gold Tour

The penultimate event of the weekend was the 1.40 m CSIO* Gold Tour presented by Regale Energy.

The first round consisted of 12 obstacles and 15 efforts, which proved to be a tough challenge for the 37 competitors. Seven riders, including two Hungarians, made it to the jump-off.

Barbara Schnieper, the first starter in the jump-off scored a fast and perfect round and remained on the lead until the last moment.

Then came the last rider, Hungarian Aliz Alasztics, who jumped not only elegant but proved to be even faster with almost two seconds on Message Me Psz, purchased from Péter Szuhai.

Third place went to Olympic rider Max Kühner from Austria.

András Kövy, Jnr. from Hungary finished fourth after a clear ride on El Corlensky owned by dr. Viktor Nyíri. Henri Kovács and Entre Nous van ‘t Coseveld Z closed fifth with one fault. Stefanie Ribas Da Costa from the United States on Hermelyntje achieved sixth place. Vladimir Tuganov withdrew from the competition, finishing seventh.

Barna Paár representing Regale Energy, and Kerstin Weber from the jury congratulated the riders. Rita Szokolai on behalf of Imperial Horse Feed presented a special prize.
