Szabolcs Krucsó at the Top in the 1.40m Competition
In the 1.40m competition in two stages, presented by Concorde, riders competed for a total prize money of €3000.
Out of 59 rider and horse pairs, eleven delivered a clear round, which meant that only they could go on and participate in the second stage. Most of the faults were committed at fence 6A.
The eighth starter, Henri Kovács on Tambourino, was in the lead for a long time, but Szabolcs Krucsó and Uripoint, who entered the course as 50th, took over the top position from them.
German Mia-Charlotte Becker, daughter of the German chef d’équipe, on Beryl des Pres captured third place.
The other runners-up were Tamás Mráz on Clueso Z, Hessel Hoekstra on VDL Legodermus PP (NED), and Éva Debreczeni on Cortez.
Jacqueline Schmieder congratulated the riders on behalf of the jury.
